Can I edit or revise the interview after it is completed?Absolutely! You can delete specific responses during an interview by pressing the trash can icon next to that entry in the discussion. If you want to revisit a topic in a later conversation, you can also do this by telling Weevr you want to talk more about that subject, and then sharing the information you wish you had included before.

How long does the interview process with Weevr take?The duration varies based on the depth and detail of the story you wish to capture. In practice, the more you share the more detailed the final biography will be. You can also generate shorter extracts to share with others along the way. After a series of interviews, Weevr will take some time to analyse and draft a cohesive narrative, ensuring every significant event and emotion is captured in the final narrative biography. The user has absolute control over what appears in that final version.

Does Weevr have a mind of its own?No, Weevr does not have emotions or consciousness. It operates based on sophisticated algorithms and extensive training data, making it highly adept at interviewing and crafting narratives. In this way, it emulates how a human might talk or emotionally relate to one another, but it can’t become sad, offended, or upset. It does know a lot about the world - perhaps more than any one person - but this knowledge isn’t perfect, so it can make mistakes like any of us! You can correct these when it comes time for final edits.

How much does Weevr cost?We are currently running a series of trials before bringing Weevr to market. We would love to hear from prospective users about what would be affordable for them. We need to balance the costs of running the service, but are also focused on making weevr as accessible as possible.
